So, hey. I haven't even thought of this crap in like a year.

Let's start this off by saying that the Roughnecks are totally the 2009 NLL Champions BABY!!!

This season was a pretty crazy one for me. Running a fan bus (then having someone else take the helm), going to Edmonton for an away game, meeting people at the Champions Cup from Wingszone and basically making alot of new friends, and becoming alot closer with the players. To have it all finish with winning the Champions Cup was pretty SWEET.

So, I'm now at the Saddledome leaving the world of Cineplex far behind. It's been okay. It's frustrating getting to work the West Gates over and over, but that's out of my hands. It's not democratic there for sure.

I worked the 2008 Stampede as a Gate Attendant at Olympic Gate 5-12. I'm going back and it's gonna be awesome! Can't wait.

I'm also going into SAIT in the fall which is wicked. Travel and Tourism. Should be cool, they go on trips too, so maybe they will go to Europe or Asia and I can go, cause I'll never get to go with Mom and Dad.

Speaking of trips, we went to Varadero, Cuba. It was cool, except for the flights. Even though I'm a fan of flying, the plane seriously pissed me off.

Here at YYC, we didn't have any problems with Transat at check-in, however our plane didn't show up for like an hour after 10:00, and we had to fly to Edmonton. >:-(. Where does it make sense to do YYC-YEG-VRA? The other way, I could understand. So, that added about 45 mins to the trip ontop of 5 or so hours. It was a red-eye too which sucked. And Transat is cramped like a mofo. Seriously. Not comfy at all. And the movie was "Twilight" which also is fail.

The actual trip was pretty awesome. I made some great friends from Toronto/Vancouver/Ottawa. We partied it up at the disco and had to barricade a girl in her room. (When I think about it now, that was totally a fire hazard). Got stupid drunk. Swam with dolphins which was pretty cool.

Coming up I have Russell Peters at the Dome, No Doubt/Paramore at the Dome, WWE RAW at the Dome, and WWE Smackdown/ECW at Rexall. WOOT. Pike and Jessica are coming too, which is gonna be fun. I have great seats as well.

I have to find a job though, cause now that the Flames/Hitmen season is over (Thanks for failing Flames) I have only concerts to work, and that's not enough. I've tried everywhere. IKEA, Cineplex, Toys R Us, Shakers, McDonald's, Calaway Park. It's stupidly ridiculous.

Oh well.

I want to read some of the old stuff on here, so yeah... guess that's it.

Hahaha!! I haven't blogged since Live Earth.

Since then (rapid fire):

I started school again with Japanese, Foods, Spanish.
I dropped Japanese. I flipped Foods to Block 1 and replaced Block 2 with Drama 10.
I replaced my spare with Dance 15.
Dance 15 has become my favorite course EVER!
Spanish 10, suprisingly difficult.
My grad ring will not come off my finger.
Kaitlyn is doing me a massive favor and getting me a shirt from Spice Girls in L.A.
I saw Hilary Duff again but this time in Row 2. I saw Troy and Ryan. Hilary even saw me during "Wake Up".
I quit the theatre, under VERY weird circumstances involving Chinook. Cineplex oddities.
I screwed SCENE out of 2000 points along with 1,100+ people on Facebook.
I'm going to Avril Lavigne.
I started volunteering at Canadian Blood Services. It's really fun. Last night someone put on their comment card that she was impressed with my service and dilligance (ME specifically).
I tried to donate plasma, but failed miserably. The first time I got sick and we passed it off as having a empty stomach, but the second time we figured out that it was the anti-coagulant. It was a good experience though and I learned all about the plasma process.
We had a party the other night for CBS at the Calgary Zoo. It was so fun. We ate so much and laughed a lot. They had those wishing tree things and I wished for "To get through this final Dance project... & Darren's plasma". BTW, this Dance project is ridiculous. I've got to leave a major mark in Lacey and Ruth's hands which is not cool. They don't get that either. It's a real test in emotions.

I don't know what I'm going to do tonight, I might go to LaserQuest to renew my membership and play 3 games (and get an application), or go to Chinook and watch Enchanted. But it will probably be Chinook cause I didn't realize that I didn't bring the application I already completed during the weekend with me. You think I would have, because this Dance Central duffel bag I have holds SO much.

After Nelly, I came out with a screaming headache. I forgot about bringing Tylenol.

My headache finally is gone this morning but I still am congested and crap from I dunno what.

I can't believe I actually made it through the two sets at work last night. I however did have to ditch them at close, which made Shane a little annoyed but I felt like crap.

I also only have a shift for this week tonight, but I'm calling in, cause I need to rest a little more. I can't do a Friday like this, especially with Blades of Glory and Meet The Robinsons opening.

I realized on the walk from Central to Shaughnessy...

I've been a lot of NLL/Calgary Roughnecks milestones...
I'm going to the 100th game in Riggers history tomorrow.
I went to T.K's 100th game.
I went to the game where T.K. and Kaleb scored their 100th points.
I went to the longest game in NLL history.

I'm sure there is more but that's all I can come up with right now.

Forca was amazing as well, people jumping up and down with Portugese stuff, and Nelly's dancers tossed out inflatable soccer balls, and then Nelly took a real soccer ball, signed it, and threw it out into the crowd.

No Hay Igual, was also awesome. Sang along with every word.

So...

Nelly was amazing!

I got there about half a hour before the doors opened. Once they did, I did the Hilary rush to the other merchandise stand, and got my shirt.

Then I bought a glow-thingy, and a necklace. More of a lanyard.

I was so suprised at how close row 22 was. I was very, very close to the stage and could see everything.

I got my review published on the Calgary Sun website.

I got to run up to the front row for "Maneater". It was soo awesome! I have a splitting headache right now, so I might go home after Social, because it is quite bad. I'll have to talk it over with Meara.

Jon Levine was okay. I couldn't really hear him. Saukrates ruled!

I loved her cover version of "Crazy", I wasn't expecting it at all.

Oh, I did something really cool today.

I donated blood at the Central mobile clinic they had set up. It was okay, I'm feeling a little lightheaded but I'm good.

They ask some really out there questions like if I have had sex with someone from Africa.

It was okay, everyone was really nice. I got a cool pin. The part where they test you for iron hurts more then the actual donation part.

My neck hurts from the pillow.

I got cookies and Powerade and Sprite.

Also, I saw Ms.Smith there which was cool. I have to work later so hopefully I'm 100% but whatever. It's Concession.

I feel great about doing it though!

I have a whirlwind weekend, I work Friday, which sucks cause there is a game, which I thought I booked off. I have to go to a funeral on Sat. I also think I work on Sunday. :-(.

So much going on...

Work has been keeping me busy, and I may be trained in Box Office, hopefully in the coming weeks. I did a basic box office in Concession when we needed to cover for part of the night.

Deal or No Deal Canada finished up, with Jamie Cumberland giving Howie a white hat which was hilarious.

Roughnecks are doing okay.

My Canadian Idol audition was okay, didn't get through but had so much fun.

Hilary's new song "With Love" is doing amazing!

Parents are in Holguin, Cuba right now, and I hate Skyservice, because they are a pain in the ass to get a hold of.

I can't wait for Borat to come out on DVD tomorrow.

Stealth forward Luke Wiles scored the overtime game winning goal at 11:42 into the extra period after nearly 72 minutes of overall play. Alright. This is being done on my cell. I worked another concession shift today. Joumana was the Team Leader as was Kelsi. It was good even though I was on the till beside Presley (who annoys the hell out of every single person at Westhills). I had Mike there so it wasn't all bad. We are trying to push the butter so I had a lanyard today. I was very slow with my final drop but Tyler helped.

VIBEFest 2007 is Nelly Furtado, and thanks to me getting a job a Westhills, I got a floor ticket to see her!! Sweet. Not a Hilary Duff concert for once.

Work? To be honest... I love it!

I have some kick-ass people there... namely Jenni, Jovanna (who goes to Central and is in Ms.Smith's Pure Math 10 class), Chrissy, Shane, Roji (that's spelled wrong), Danielle, Aziz, Mike, Natasha, Jesse, Alexandra, and Kevin. Woah, that's a whole load of people.

I've had a blast working Concession over the last two days... in total I've done 3 shifts on till.

I had a funny guest today, she wanted the "old" kiddie combo, and I told her I couldn't sell her it, so she got all pissy and was like "I DON'T WANT ANYTHING THEN"!

Um, okay. Seriously, I was way nervous first time, during a rush of 400 people *yay* but I'm so much better at it now. I even opted to stay late last night.

Carrie's Wedding

I went to a wedding on the weekend, in Three Hills/Trochu. It was boring for me in terms of the ceremony, cause I really had no idea what was going on but the wedding reception was very fun.

I danced so much, and the bridesmaids taught me to line dance. I didn't know anyone there except for Carrie, and she was the bride.

There was a 4 year old girl there at the reception, actually she was a flowergirl, and she was a very violent girl. She started kicking and biting me, and then she threw ice at me. I asked her why she was doing it, and she said that it wasn't her. She then kicked me again and said "Wasn't me".

But it was funny, cause at the end she came up to me and gave me a hug and then blew a raspberry on my head.

I was like ooooooookay.

I must admit, you gotta try Ukrainian dancing to "SexyBack".

Okay, so last night I got invited to a movie, and I went to Westhills and while I was waiting played some DDR EXTREME. Well, I have played Daikenkai so many times that I can do a 360 on 4 certain sequences. This elderly couple was watching me and when I came off the machine, they wanted to know about DDR.

I basically told them everything I knew, that it came from Japan, my first time playing at Stampede, and then at Pacific Place. It was very fun, and I'm glad that some people are still intrigued by it, even though it appears to be dying down in popularity.

I burned my finger today in Commericial Foods, because I accidently touched the rice pot handle, and it was needless to say, freaking hot.

Like I said, still got to convince someone to at least fill out the application form for Deal or No Deal Canada.

I've been to two movies in two days... The Departed and Man Of The Year.

They were both good, but Departed was very long, and just kind of ended all of a sudden.

I got out really late, and I phoned Teleride, and the 108 wasn't going to come for 28 mins, so I walked back. GRRRR!!! It's so cold, and today I waited at least 30 mins for the 13, in the cold, even though I had a scarf, and everything.

I've been heavliy playing LQ recently, so I'm becoming good friends with the marshals.
